My co-worker for Anime Expo, Ricardo, makes puns all the time. He’s really funny.
He kept making puns before we started moving everything for the day, right?
And then he was like
“I have a really terrible, terrible pun for you. But you have to wait. Wait until we’re finished with work today.”
He makes a few more puns over the course of the work, where we shrink-wrap everything and put it in storage.
After we finished, three hours later, he hands me a huge balled up piece of shrink wrap. At this point, I completely forgot about the pun.
He says, “Here you go! All nice and wrapped up for you!”
then he starts to walk away
I look into the ball of shrink wrap and look back up
“Wait…Ricardo! We’re finished with the work! What was the pun?”
he continues to walk away
“I already gave it to you!” he says
“…what? what is it?”
then he stops, and turns his head around toward me and calmly says
“…that’s a wrap.”
and i fucking lost it.
